Cheongdo Songgeum Village – Persimmon Colors and the Unique Wine Tunnel
Songgeum Village is a rural community at the foot of Songjeong Mountain. In spring the peach blossoms bloom, and in autumn the hillsides turn red with ripe persimmons. Designated as a Green Rural Experience & Recreation Village by Korea’s Ministry of Agriculture, it offers a mix of farm activities and cultural experiences such as persimmon harvesting, natural dyeing with persimmon juice, and traditional Korean sweet making.
The village is just a 5-minute walk from the famous Cheongdo Wine Tunnel and close to other major attractions such as the Bullfighting Media Experience Hall, Yongam Hot Springs, Provence Light Festival Park, and the Cheongdo Luge Track. It is an ideal place to combine hands-on farm activities with sightseeing.
